I'm pretty shocked that some if you think LSU fans as a whole prefer 2:30 kickoffs.
I just started a thread on the TR asking them. Ill be interested in seeing the results.

Ask them if they want to play in the 2:30 time slot and get millions of dollars from CBS or schedule every game at night and give up all that money.

We gave up a rivalry game in Florida to appease the conference. We have played them 40% of the seasons since. Your move.

I don't prefer 2:30 kickoffs. Obviously I prefer night games.
But I don't mind 2:30 kickoffs because of what that exposure does for the program.

Sure, as a fan, night games are better.
But, from the perspective of someone actually running the team, no. Would you take less exposure and less money if you were advertising your product? No. The LSU admin feels the same way.

You seem to have trouble comprehending what I'm writing. I'm not saying LSU fans in general prefer the 230 games. I'm saying that you don't know what the frick they prefer.

comprehension has never been his strong point.

He does this shite all the time. His his schtick. Just like how he framed his question on the TR.

Yes, I do.
And the early returns on my thread are bearing that out.

It's fricking annoying. I've no use for subtext. I use the words I do to clearly convey what I want to say. I don't need someone to prescribe intent to anything I write, because I make it plain as day.

I am sure you also phrased the question in order to get the response you wanted.

All I did was ask if they preferred being the 2:30 game or playing at night.

But you want EVERY game at night. Meaning no big time game slots. Thats a bit different question

You also failed to mention the implications of losing all of CBS money. And that is not an SEC decision. If you refuse to play in their time slot you get none of the money.

Most LSU fans care about night kickoffs more than they do being the "big" game of the week or whatever.

We don't have an option of refusing under the current contract.

I'm willing to give up a lot if I never have to hear another fricking cowbell

Everybody wants more night games. LSU doesn't have the market cornered on having great night game.
The Cock Pit is a crazy place for night games ... they just don't give us many of them anymore
LSU is just selfish: they think they should get all the night games; get to dictate everyone's schedule based on who they feel are the better teams; be able to determine how the conference declares divisional winners; decide which games should be considered rivalries and when they're played; they think they should get special treatment on which uniforms teams should wear;
