Texas Governor Greg Abbott has issued a revised order: not only will professional sports leagues be allowed to resume play in June, but outdoor stadiums will be allowed to host fans up to 25% of their capacity.

Would assume this applies to games at Kyle Field (Texas A&M) as well.

If I was a USC fan, I'd hope to God that it doesn't qualify. They're getting shite housed.

would this be based on seating capacity or actual capacity of the building itself

Good that means LSU's game in NRG should be a go.

Why does the fact a stadium is indoors or outdoors have a role on people in attendance?

A1abana is spiking. Wouldn’t be surprised if the state has to shut it down again.

Good question.

AT&T Stadium seats 80,000 but the maximum capacity of the stadium with standing room is 105,000. So a difference of 6,250 fans or so depending on which they enforce?

That an open dome = 30,000 fans

But a closed dome = no fans

The dome should not play a factor

Have they ever played a game with the roof open in Jerry's World? Seems like retractable roofs aren't used much.

If the state shuts down again [/i]- will the rest of the conference continue to move forward?

I say yes.

I think they've done it a half-dozen times or more for NFL games.

Not like USC brings many fans even when they are good. The Orange Bowl crowd when they squashed Oklahoma was like 80% OU fans iirc
