Saban's defenses had first round draft picks all over the defensive side of the ball. I just don't see as much talent there now. LSU may be in for a surprise with Florida's backup Qb if he starts. Florida coaches say he is very good and that he can play winning football for them. Kind of like Alabama coaches had been saying about Mcelroy all along. He may just be waiting his turn.

and Florida was to still beat Lsu handily.. what kind of meltdown will occur on the Tiger Rant or here?
I think Brantley would move in front of Locker for Heisman on the rant.

Tebow will play. If he does not play against LSU, that means he is very seriously injured and it is probably minor brain damage. The result would be that he would not play for several months or possibly for the rest of the college football year. I doubt that that is the case and would expect to see him lining up against LSU next Saturday evening on the first offensive series. Go Tigers. And, also, Go Gators.

This is the best diagnosis I've read.

I for one am not feeling terribly confident. I have seen that place on a Saturday night and there is no more decided home-field advantage in college football. Couple that with a QB who is starting his first SEC game and you've got some concerns.
Our run defense has not been stellar (we really allowed some huge runs up the middle against UT) and our vertical passing attack is non-existent without Deonte Thompson out there. Not sure if he is playing this week but that will be a huge key for us. I also don't think Tebow will go but it is supposedly entirely up to the Dr.'s, so who knows.
