I'd rather win and let everyone else argue about how it happened (or almost didn't).

Media wouldn't allow it.

The media would jizz themselves over a tOSU/ND BCSNC, FWIW.

There's no way they could've choked harder than Nebraska did.

You realize we'd be playing Nebraska, not UW, right?
And that we had already put up 63 points on them earlier that season?

Since everybody is making their what if stories

If Mosley doesn't tip that pass and Mitchell comes down with it, does Georgia skull frick Notre Dane?

If Vandy beats Tennessee in 2007, does Georgia bitch slap LSU and Ohio State?

Answer to both is yes

No. An undefeated Ohio State would not be left out in favor of an Alabama team that couldn't even beat lil ole Texas A&M in Tuscaloosa.

Good point, not sure Bama would have boot in which would have been a travesty b/c Bama is significantly better than both teams.

Bama sits. Media would have LOVED the SEC to sit on the side line for an all mid west TOSU vs ND Natty.

Not sure if it has been mentioned or not, but playing with no pressure makes a difference too. Look at AU in 1993. No pressure, no losses. If OSU actually had something riding on the season, it could have looked a lot different.

I'm by no means saying it WOULD have, just that it COULD have and it wouldnt be the first time that something of that nature had an effect.

A&M was undefeated in 94 but was on probation as well. Good point.
