If Memphis makes the playoffs

Memphis is picked by many to be the possible team from the G5 to make the playoffs. It will be crazy if it happens for two reasons.
1. Memphis would be the first team in Tennessee to make the playoffs.
2. Memphis would make the playoffs before Norvell, their former coach, does at FSU.

I would dearly love to clown Memphis... but damn they've been solid when it comes to football for a while now. The school is a mess, the city is a mess, but their Athletic Department keeps finding the right coaches for football.
And, for the most part, they are rewarded with yawns from the basketball crazy city. Oh, people go to watch the Tigers play football, but it is clearly the red headed stepchild to Memphis basketball and it isn't really close.

I am predicting a team from Louisiana, not Tennessee, will make the playoffs this year. But LSU will not make the playoffs.
