Yes. They would have a real good shot at a national title.

It's crazy how since 2003 every 4 years (other than 2015) they are in the national title game.

It has been quite an odd pattern. It seemed a lock up until 15. Guess the planets are back in phase or some shite.

How did 2015 screw up our four year tradition?

We didn't make it to the championship game in 15. The only year in the 4 year cycle we missed....

Was the math that difficult for ya? 03-07-11-15-19...

the REC started to figure it out. only took a dozen years for them to do so; but the good news is that is 3 less years than most bama kids take to get from 1st through 12th grade

I blame it on the fact that the NCG wasn’t held in NOLA in 2015.

I know we didn't make it to the championship. My question was more about why we didn't?

LSU has won 3 Nat. Titles and played these 3 teams in the post season bowl to win it:

1958 Clemson
2003 Oklahoma
2007 Ohio State

Look familiar?

All 3 games in New Orleans; Sugar bowl or BCS Championship

4th time we played for it was 2011 also in New Orleans
2011 Alabama

Every year the Championship has been in New Orleans since 2003, LSU has been in the game.
