I'm melting because pur 8 million dollar quarter back is playing scared to get hurt.

I don't care if he throws interceptions or makes mistakes....as long as he's trying his best to win.

Ignoring wide open rushing lanes and then running the ball out of bounds final play instead of chunking it up is simply unacceptable.

Speaking of that final play..Why didn't he throw it?

If i didn't know any better he's more scared of having an interception on his stat sheet than he is of losing the game.

So wanting to hold everyone on our team accountable for a poor performance makes me a douche?

I think most of us have proven to be douches over the years here from time to time, some more than others. It's kind of the theme.

That said, I think my biggest takeaway last weekend is that Aggie doesn't deserve the Oct roller coaster image as much as the Vols do. Off season Champs for Life!

You have no reason to melt. Your QB is young and learning his way around Heupel's system. You were never going to win out with that young of a QB. You will lose more games as well.

As to what you are paying him, that is irrelevant. Grow up, child

Go rewatch the game and look at how many EASY first down opportunities including one that would have sealed the game had Nico simply taken off and ran with the ball.

I completely agree with you on Heupel calling a terrible game though and yes it starts with him.

But why is Nico willing to pick up easy first downs with his legs?????

That's a massive part of what makes our offense humm actually.

Is it because Heupel is scared of Nico going down and being stuck with our backup or is it because Nico is scared?

It's one of the two options pick one. Either one is bad imo. You simply can not win in this conference if you are playing scared to get hurt.

Once again....this isn't about losing!!!

It's about why is our 8 million dollar QB purposely ignoring wide open rushing lanes when he has great top end speed?

It's as simple as that. Being a freshman is no excuse to be scared of getting hurt.

So you've gone from it is unwarranted criticism of the young QB (who you all keep acting like he is a 17 year old, and not a RS FR in year 2 of the system having started and won a Citrus Bowl) to the kid is a prima donna entitled POS playing not to get hurt. Hell of a 12 hour period for a 180 change in opinion

Perhaps the kid is being coached to stay in the pocket and look for receivers? It's called developing a young QB. Stop whining, and put the blame on the coach instead of the QB. Sometimes the coach has a reason you as the spoiled, entitled fan are not aware of.

Go back and watch the game and count how many easy first downs we left on the field because Nico refused to take them with his legs.

Now go father back and watch Josh Dobbs for us as a freshman who willingly took these first down opportunities with his legs compared to Nico since you guys are playing the poor little freshmen card

My entire thread is literally a criticism of the coaching staff's mindset. They are way too soft on these players and that soft mindset starts with Heupel.and his soft arse play calling.

The only question I have is:

Did Arkansas break 10RC?

This beatdown will lead to massive transfers, fired coaches and the program reverting back to the dark ages.

Yes. The hogs - with inferior talent I might add - figured out Huepel’s GO GO GO offense and Tennessee will not recover.

The melt is real here. Here’s another reason to melt. How bout a 4 game losing streak to the hogs? Haha! How many times have you rewatched that L to count these “running lanes”?

And you do realize that hogs left a LOT of points on the field in the first half right? Should’ve been 17-0 or 21-0 at half

We will know this weekend against Florida.

If our team comes out sluggish looking and not passionate looking then yes that would indicate something on the inside would be wrong imo.

I expect us to come put playing like their tails are on fire so to speak though.

Win or lose, that's all that i really ask for as a fan. Effort and passion and an unbreakable will to win.

Our defense had a lot to do with that. Our redzone defense is incredibly stingy.

Arkansas is going to be really good. I'm not sure why Arky fans are getting offended.

I was giving you guys props as a good team since this season has began and have been telling everyone that you are a much better team than your record indicates.
