All LSU fans could talk about this offseason was how losing everyone that you did didn't mean anything and you'd "reload like always" and the conference would come down to you and Bama again.

Now all your fans can do is temper your expectations for Saturday and revise your preseason predictions. Classic.

Just look at the recruiting rankings. Normally the SEC has 10+ teams in the Top 25 yearly. That means even the lowbie teams in the SEC pull in good talent. Top to bottom the SEC is stonger. The BIg 12 has 4 or so teams that recruit well, Big 10 has 1 that recruits really well and 1 more that does solid. The pac 10 has 3 that recruit well. Compare that to the SEC and you will see a huge disparity and it's why the SEC top to bottom is a brutal conference. Do we have shitty teams year in and year of course but we also have 8 teams that could show up on gameday and beat just about anyone not named Bama.

its the four letter network pimping the acc and pac man 12...bunch of crapola. Its parity folks, top to bottom the SEC is stronger now.

Compare out of conference games...Oregonia Potato Head lost to East Wash n fold I think? Caliporno is God afwul, wash n fold state isn't much better, arizonas two teams are sun bleached etc etc UCLA? have you seen their cute and cuddly bear mascot? Jesus Louise....that will scare ya.

almost cupcake conference? the land of 25-38 thousand attendance at their reveled acccg? Or Virgina getting hosed regularly by James Madison? or Ga Tech getting punked by everyone? Only good thing about Ga Tech is Varsity Drive In and that sweet ride. Duke? Pretty violent at cricket, or badminton etc etc..B College? please...ditto virgina techster, pittbuergh steelers...oh? not that team? ok...could go on and on...but don't let talking heads fool you.

Mizzou was not mid-tier team, but you sound a dumb liberal changing facts around to fit your agenda. I hope we get a shot at you in the BCS title game

You are correct - appears they were more of a lower-tier team.

If Mizzou wins the SECCG, then I would agree that the SEC is overrated.

There are at least 2 teams in the Pac12 that would be undefeated with Mizzous schedule.

gotta love them Dawg fans. They never give up even when their team is complete trash and even when mizzou went into "hostile" Athens and destroyed them

Actually no, it isn't. It's stronger, top to bottom, than it's ever been.

It's cannabilizing itself..

This is a really terrible argument. A&M finished 3rd in the West and wrecked Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl if you'll remember. They would have gone undefeated in the Big 12 last season.

Mizzou is a combined 6-7 against the SEC. They have a good team right now but have played one of the weaker schedules in the conference.

FSU will likely skullfrick Florida but I expect USC, Georgia, and Vandy to win against their ACC foes at the end of the year.
