If Golding admittedly doesn’t touch the offense, why make him head coach?

They said during CFP and this game that Baker has complete reigns over the offense and Golding the defense, and they’ve continued to struggle on D

Lane could never get a defense working at Ole Miss. That's ultimately what he needed to put himself over the hump. He'll get that from LSU.

Then he admitted he didn’t even want the job multiple times.

They will get decimated during SEC play.

He had a top 10 defense that was top 5 in sacks in 2024 and lost 3 games.
