Nothing will Seal his fate for a few years. I would suggest he find a better DC.

Like it’s been repeated numerous times. He’ll at least be at Bama 3 years minimum. If things aren’t working out by year 4, then sure, he’s probably gone.

It doesn’t matter how much talent he was given, you have to let him implement his system AND get his assistant coaches in place, over that period of time. There will be some assistants leave like they always do. Can he bring in top assistants on a regular basis? He had to take what was available last Soring.

Year 3-4 will be the season they either extend his contract or don’t. He may decide to leave at any time as well. Who knows?

The Tennessee game won’t determine his fate. Neither will this entire season that matter.

Saban lost to Heupel. This game won’t kill DeBoer to lose but it could quiet some of the fans for a short time if he wins.

No.

DeBoer will get evaluated after each year. Unless he's done something egregious, he gets at the very least 3 years.

He seems to be a standup guy, so he'll probably be given 4 or 5 years to get us deep in the playoffs.

A lot of fans (Bama and otherwise) seem to be expecting him to perform the same as Saban. I don't get it.
