Bill Curry won 72% of his games and Bama tried to extend his contract.

Mediocrity rewarded.

DeBoer’s time at Alabama from the second he got there has been overwhelmingly positive.

I don’t get the hot seat talk this early. And it started last year lol.

Are y’all just trolling?

He will never win a championship at Bama

Let me just go ahead and apologize for dragging the entire conference down going forward.

I trust that you'll take the reigns and bring us all home five or six football titles within the next 10 years?

He lost to Auburn 3 years in a row.

That is the measure people looked at, and that is why they wanted to limit the people he could hire/fire and that is why he left for Kentucky. He was going to lose control.

So I'm not really sure what you are talking about.

Saban was going to leave every year for 15 years.

Was he offered a contract extension or not?

People troll, just like you did.

Would 5 losses be considered a success for LSU and Brian Kelly in year one?

I think Bama will be fine. Bama defense definitely isn't what it used to be under Saban.

His buyout would be something like $60 million.

He lowered the bar for the bama standard last year. I think he gets fired.

If he was actually able to lower the BAMA standard, why would he be fired? ALABAMA is the BAMA standard, and Coach DeBoer gets a reasonable opportunity to bring his flair and players to the dance. Our recruiting has NOT dropped off due to the BAMA standard. We are getting a stronger stream of elite players through campus than under Coach Saban. Opponents might want to let that seep in a little more fully.

You might as well stop all the 10-game stuff. That's for teams like LSU and the TAMUs of the world that are still trying to make bowl games. It was, is, and always will be about the Playoffs. That is the ALABAMA standard. Coach DeBoer is well aware of that.

If Texas 8&4 wins ten this year will the Aggies have a parade to recognize their first season with double-digit wins since 2012?

Look it up. We have had more elite players on campus under Coach DeBoer than under Coach Saban. Starting last season.
