If D1 schools still had JV teams...

... would you watch and would teams make revenue from TV rights?

It would be Alabama's A squad vs Alabama's B squad about every other year in the CFP finals. So yes, there would be revenue for some teams.

You mean if they brought back JV teams because they existed for a very long time.

Alabama had a freshman (later called JV) team until 1981.

An Alabama JV team would still beat many D1 schools

Plus, it would be really tough to do in an era with only 85 scholarships. That part would have to be structured differently somehow.
