Ha.
Houston walked into a gold mine. Bobby has rebuilt this program from scratch.
I assure you, there isn't a soul outside of Oxford that believes that the current state of the programs favors Ole Miss.
Bobby Petrino is turning Arkansas into a threat, week in and week out.
Houston has already started the downward slide, despite having two years of Coach O's best to work with. You've peaked. We're on the way up.

I seriously doubt that Arkansas loses this week and he won't lose ANY to him after that. I have predicted every loss he's had at Ole Miss so far...with the exception of the Texas Tech game. I'm not lucky and definitely not that good at guessing scores. He's just that predictable.

Ole Miss has a much better chance of going 6-6, or losing 4/5 of their first 5 sec games. It's the nature of the Nutt.

I do believe that 3 or 4 of their losses will come from their first 4 SEC games.

Is there any logic behind this prediction other than you hate Nutt and still aren't over him?

Let's get this straight...I don't hate Hootie and what is there to get over? I did lose a lot of respect for him over the years. I am aware of his trends in coaching and I like him more, now that he's at Ole Miss. I've always liked Ole Miss. It's a completely logical estimation and I really didn't think it was even offensive. Just look at the schedule. South Carolina will probably be no easier of a game than last year. Hootie has never really coached well against Vanderbilt, though OM will probably win. I honestly believe Alabama will win again and I believe Arkansas will win. That's 3 of 4. Arkansas' defense will be much improved from last year and their offense will be greatly improved.

At one point in time, I thought this. I'm balking on that now.
And what in the world would cause you to do that?
Is it your "first round QB" that has regressed into a below average QB?
Is it your horrible game management?
Is it your woeful offense and disorganized sideline?
Is it losing most of your top recruits from your AWESOME recruiting class?
Or is it....
Petrino assembling one of the most talented offenses (skill positions) in the conference in just two years?
Or already upgrading the talent immensely on a woeful defensive team in just two years?
Maybe it's putting that "club footed QB" in the position to be the best QB in the league, statistically?
Maybe all of that?

quite a claim there.
Of course you've only got 6 losses to choose from.

This is not logical at all Robot. You don't put together a winning conference record over an 11 year period at 2 programs otherwise about 100 games below .500 in the SEC if you can not coach. Nutt is a cheerleader for sure but he's also a great football coach. He's coached at 2 programs with far less tradition and potential than Saban yet Saban has lost regular season games to both LA monroe and UAB. Nutt's never really come close to doing such.
Petrino basically won at Louisville with prop 48's that the SEC wouldn't admit and it might be that other bigeast schools wouldn't admit them either. They put a ton more talent in the NFL draft in the years he was there but the talent he recruited is not getting drafted as high. Sure BP can XO as good as Saban or Nutt or anyone but his pass first, defense last philopshy can't be a long term winner. Everyone's high on him for his last 3 games but in all games he was picking up methods of telegraphing in that shotgun system and the players knew the play before it was called. Against an Offese like Georgia that doesn't do that, he's fricked

Had a kid fail out of Ole Miss, had a kid with Heart issuse that could still come back, and had a kid catch a case.
Houston Nutt maybe could have stopped one of those from Happening. We have five freshmen that are already serious contributers.

Grandy, Simon, Ridder, our punter, and Patrick Patterson have been tremendous so far.
Cotton is progressing very well also........contrary to what Hawg fans say Re: Nutt/QB's.

I agree Pank. The bottom line is the offensive linemen are the root of Sneads problem. Nutt said going in he had concerns about the offensive line. That leads to Snead's rushing throws and innaccuracy even if he has to do something 1 second before he's ready.
Of course fans are not smart enough to realize that but I think you know I am the expert on it.

Wow, I forgot how many people we have contributing.
Andrew Ritter is leading the SEC in touchbacks. Our freshman Punter Tyler Campbell is averaging 43 yards per punt. Patrick Patterson is third or fourth on the team in receptions. Jesse Grandy returned a kickoff for a touchdown this past weekend He has a 60 yard touchdown run too. Rodney Scott led us in rushing and had two touchdowns this past weekend. DT Shackelford is pushing for a starting job at Linebacker, and so is Joel Kight.

So 2/5 of your contributers are kickers.
Just say it...you have THREE freshman contributing.
And re:Cotton, how do you know he's progressing? Because Nutt and his band of media told you?
Sounds very familiar. You guys are so convinced Nutt is great with QB's....why?

Yep.....forgot about those two as well.
It's a damned shame Nutter can't recruit talent.

Because he's at all of the practices.

They tie those shoe laces and button up both chin straps just like the rest of the team.....

Because I have two eyes and saw him from when he first stepped on campus up until now.
