Which poster said UF is back?
Billy would need a miracle to be over .500.
I don’t think it’s possible and he’s gone.
I’d prefer it wasn’t Lane but I understand the hype. He seems to thrive at schools with historically lower expectations.
OM is the right fight for Lane.

I’m really not sure. I’m so gun shy now it’s hard for me to get excited about this process.
So many mistakes in a row.
I’d prefer Stricklin goes this year soon and another AD does this process.

No I don’t believe he will be in that scenario

It’s much better in the long run to get rid of a shite AD before trying to change coaches. You’ll just end up with another bad hire

That's the sticker.
For one, Lane Kiffin's buyout is around $42 million. I'm not aware of any clauses that would let him leave for a specific program, but it's possible since he's not employed by the state of Mississippi.
Add in Napier's buyout and that's a lot of money.
On top of that, Florida needs some stability. I'm no insider, but the university has an interim president and an AD who is also on the hot seat.
I'm not saying Kiffin wouldn't come, but after going through a pretty dysfunctional administration at USC, will it be a priority for him to go where there isn't stability in the administration?

It isn’t.

For sure. He currently has a very favorable AD who gives Lane total control of the program as well as an established NIL fund that’s one of the best in the country.
