They won't get the chance. When Bama kicks their arse and wins the BCS crystal the AP voters will award Bama their crown as well. This is why LSU fans were so against a rematch. They know what's coming for them and they hate it.

It isn't like you can turn it down. AP gives it to whomever it wants. LSU will take the crystal trophy and whatever bling the AP wants to give out.

Depends. If Bama drops their bogus claim of 12 or 13 national titles, then I'd refuse the AP crown. If you keep those, we'll add another crown to spite you.

the ap was a component part of BCS in 2003...it is independent of BCS now...apples and oranges difference in the 2 yesra
