Would you consider this to be cheating? If Deangelo Benton went to Baton Rouge, this is how LSU would have kept him eligible.

i can see the concern, he's had numerous years to make the grade and he hasn't. who knows, i hope he does becuase i want to see him play.

I think he made the right move going to Auburn tbh.

He's a lot like Ricky Jean-Francois in the classroom, it appears, and he Auburn gives him the best shot to play and get to the NFL quickly if that's where his future lies.

He'll be a good one for however long he's there.

so that's saying he's dumb? it's not a valid statement to question him being eligible? come on, he's been out of hs for how many years now? from what i undertsand he was still having trouble with his grades recently. saying "If Auburn gets Benton on the field, he's going to be one bad mofo if they can get him the ball" is not even close to calling him dumb. not making the grades doesn't mean he's dumb. he could be lazy, who knows.
