If Alabama beats Georgia handily (2-3 score game), is there any chance that Georgia is left out of the playoff?
Or is UGA a shoe-in win or lose

of course there's a chance, I don't know why everyone pretends there isn't. You'd have a selection pool of:
12-1 P5 champion
13-0 G5 conf champion
12-1 non-champion
11-1 non-champion (without a CCG)
12-1 P5 conf champion
12-1 P5 conf champion
Obviously we would not on paper be at the top of the list. With that said, I think we have enough clout at this point we could do what has never been done before and make it in that scenario, BUT, no it's not a shoein

Bama would have to win the game in a way that alters the perception of UGA. And that just isn't going to happen.
