I mean we did beat them back to back and nearly scored a hat trick, so I get the comparisons.

I really hate the times right after Bama loses when I'm still making jokes like normal but everyone else is mad that I'm not hysterically melting so they can't laugh and be lighthearted and fun like they normally would

Alabama Football is important in my life
I an emotionally invested in it. I am financially invested in it.

I follow it very closely, and watch every game, attending virtually all home games, many away games, and neutral site games.

I watch old film and collect memorabilia, and wear apparel.

When we lose, it puts a damper on the evening and no one talks much.

When we win, I party and celebrate with family and friends.

I take pride in my school's claim to fame, being the greatest program in college football history.

I take pride that my brother lettered for the university football team.

I am a Tide Pride member and season ticket holder.

I am in Arizona, and I will personally witness my team win its 4th National Title in 7 years, after I waited through 17 years of mediocrity, full on dumpster fires, sanctions, coaching scandals, growing up just hoping for 1 more NC in my lifetime.

It's going to be gravy. It's going to be fricking awesome, and I will love it so much and it will be a lifelong memory I will cherish.

Deal with it.

Edit: shite. Double post.

Imagine what peak decline will look like. The national guard may need to step in at some point to save the state.
