“Everyone else does it” is not usually a very solid defense.

The fact is, lots of coaches were doing it. That is what the FBI ultimately wanted - coaches. They had a hard on for busting Pitino, Miller, and Self. Wade wasn’t even initially on their radar.

But only a special few are stupid or arrogant enough to talk about it on the phone. Both Will Wade and Hugh Freeze would have been better off if the cell phone had never been invented.
