Well I have been off the last couple of days. I have watched SEC Network and this topic has been brought up a lot. If you wish to see it, then you can go listen to Carville on Finebaum from Monday, listen to the opinions of the experts on the show. Other callers from around the SEC, and the general consensus is that many LSU fans have gone batshit crazy on a conspiracy theory. I don't want to listen through Pawl's show to find the spots and link you to it. You can do that yourself or just take my word for it. I can, however, give you a summary of what GMac and Marcus Spears said about it on their show "Thinking out loud" Marcus basically said he was speaking as a fan, and that this LSU conspiracy theory is a weak look for LSU. GMac went on and on about it being the right call, but the rule needs to be changed.

I have. The general consensus of the experts is that is a bad rule and is not being enforced evenly because it is subject to interpretation of first the referee who threw the flag, and then the referee in charge of the replay booth. Other than Brando and Carville(who is not an expert on football as far as I know) the experts dismiss the theory that the SEC wants White to miss this game to help Bama win. In fact they point out that it is in the SEC's best interest for LSU to win because that would increase the SEC chances of getting two teams in the playoffs again.
