And some of these had like 8-10 bama players in the first round. The first freaking round

It's football and the other team was really good too. They had the better game plan and executed it better.
Also - you probably shouldn't read too much into mock drafts done a year out. They are pretty meaningless.

Still though people have seen these kids play now and its not like they are coming out of high school. Its crazy the talent Bama has on this team last year and this year.

OU had 3 top 5 picks and 4 first round in like 2009.

Yea, Clemson definitely didn't have three first round draft picks on the D line and a great QB. If only games were exclusively won because of talent. Not how it works.
And I'll agree there was bad coaching. It's why Nick got rid of everyone. He holds some blame too. He's aware of it.
Also, you didn't watch the game if you want to act like that game was a traditional beatdown. An actual arse kicking is what took place in BR 29-0. Alabama moved the ball with ease on Clemson they just couldn't score in the red zone. Bama was used to scoring on big plays all year...not accustomed to executing in the red zone and it caught up with us. Bad play calling too. Clemson basically gained all of their yardage on 3rd and long. TL's first read was wide arse open every time on 3rd down due to the trash ex-LSU Tigah Saivion Smith.
Alabama averaged 7-8 yards on first down while Clemosn averaged 2-3 yards. Generally that statistic is pretty telling in who won the game but this was a weird arse game. Clemson played their best and Bama played their worst.
Clemson was the better team. They outplayed us and we basically quit...the score ended up ugly and at the end of the day that's what qualifies as a lop sided loss but anyone that watched that game without any bias knows it was a weird game. Bama ran the ball all over Clemson they just couldn't finish.
If these two teams played again the week following the original game then it would have been a different game...but that's football. You only have 1 game to show up and we didn't.
