I don't want O as head coach but I damn sure would pull for him just as hard as I pulled for Saban and miles and just as hard as I would pull for Herman or Jimbo. You arent a real fan if you'd do otherwise. Did O frick your girl or something?

Honestly it probably isn't a bad hire, just needs a good Offensive coordinator and he has ties to the school. I know you guys feel like he isn't the sexy hire but he's proven twice now that he can step in and coach teams pretty well.

This is about LSU moving forward into the new era of college football. Why fire Les if we're just going to hire somebody with a similar mindset offensively?

frick the spread. That's how you become a soft team. You can still run a pro style offense and be much more diverse in the passing game than miles was. We've literally seen it since he's been fired.

You would be in that group. I noticed that you left off the part about O being one of the best recruiters in the country. I know of only one coach that could be considered a SURE THING and he isn't coming back to LSU.
Fisher has failed to produce a consistent NC contender and he has no excuse of a less talented roster. If his failures are tied to his team's lack of defense, that's on him for not finding the right DC. He may have succeeded at LSU but he wasn't a sure thing. He also wasn't worth +/- 50m. and a guaranteed 7 years.
Herman is still an unknown commodity but he's probably the best choice. He isn't a sure thing and he hasn't earned what it will take to hire him (5-7m/yr). Bravo to his agent for raising him to that level! Trace is probably crying the hardest right about now which has me...

Thank God someone said it before me man. I completely agree. No other top program would hire fricking Orgeron as head coach. This fan base at times seems to be smoking crack
