FWIW, I think LSU fans think waaaaaay too much of Chad Jones. He is a pretty good football player at best.

I've lurked on this site and all I hear about is how much talent LSU has. Hell, I'm sure it happens on UF sites and it's beginning to happen on Bama sites. Talent is just god given physical ability right? He's big, he's strong, he's fast, he's talented.
If LSU really has that much talent, why is a 5-11, 175lb player starting at SS? He could turn out to be a monster on the field, but talent wise for a SS, he ain't shite. When NFL draft time comes around, no one's looking for a 175 lb SS.
I think talent is kinda bullshite though. Results on the field are way more important than talent to me. But this is a discussion about LSU's talent.

Well there is your problem. You have no idea what "talent" means.
It means all those things plus one important thing you forgot about.....SKILL.

Your argument has been repeatedly addressed.

1. Its usually you gumps that are saying how much talent LSU has. Thats the only reason Miles' has been successful right.
2. Talent and results on the field go hand in hand.
3. You say results are more important, yet you mock a kid that has yet to play positon.
4. You're an idiot and you should've quit when you were behind.

can't you just admit it was a great defensive play that took away a bama TD?
how hard is that to admit?

Results on the field>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>talent.
Last year you had your best season in the past ten years; while we had our worst in ten, and you had to squeak out an OT win against us.
And what did your results on the field get you?
SEC championship? Negative
BCS bowl win? Negative
Embarrassed on national television and undoubtedly the biggest black eye the sec took in the postseason? Check.
On the field record at current team:
Les Miles: 42-11 (.792)
Bowl Record 4-0
One SEC Title
One National Title
2005 Peach Bowl LSU 40 Miami (FL) 3
2006 Sugar Bowl LSU 41 Notre Dame 14
2007 BCS Title Game LSU 38 Ohio State 24
2008 Chick-Fil-A BowlLSU 38 Georgia Tech 3
Nick Saban: 19-8 (.703)
Zero SEC titles
Zero National titles
Bowl Record 1-1
2007 Independence Bowl Alabama 30 Colorado 24
2008 Sugar Bowl Alabama 17 Utah 31
Look gump, it hasn't been too long since you had a decent team, so try not to act too much like an Ole Miss fan. Have some self respect. You are giving the other bama posters a bad name.

I just saw on the rant that Ron Brooks is gonna start at SS and is 5-11, 175. Are you kidding me?

It's clear from that shadow that there is a TD. Refs hate Bama.

Hell no. Why would I admit something that isn't true? You telling me that Chad Jones hypnotized the receiver and made him stick the ball out? Any butthole can come knock the ball out once it's being held out with one hand.

What a FAIL of a thread.
Not only is Papaloofagus looking bad, but he/she is bringing down fellow Bama posters that chime in as well.
A thread with a boomerang effect. (wanted to expose LSU, but exposed Bama.)

I can't argue with most of your post, but let's be fair. LSU played their best game of the year against Bama while we played one of our worst.

Actually, no, it isn't. In fact, in that picture the ball is not in the runner's hand at all. The ball is just in front of the fingers of his right hand. His left hand is pointing downward.
Look closely at the shadow of his hand. He clearly does not have the ball in his hand and had lost possession of the ball already.
The light causing the shadow is also from behind and not directly over the ball. Thus you cannot determine from the shadow that the ball is on or over the goal line. From the position of the ball, not the shadow, it is not over the line.
