I usually enjoy what you bring to the board, SunHog. However, I'm always going to stand firm on my stance with voting processes prior to 1973. Hence, my tone on the subject in this thread.

Close, but not totally accurate.

The difference is during those 12 seasons - Auburn has two seasons with ties, one of which had two ties. Counting 1891, 1900, 1904 by going 1-0, 4-0, 7-0 doesn't really count does it? You're kind of embellishing your point arent you?

btw - there is another team that has 12 undefeated seasons - only 1 pre bowl era and one with a tie. Kinda puts the Auburn twelve in perspective, but thanks for playing.
