Gilbert leaves LSU after having some mental issues.
Goes to Florida for a few days then leaves Florida too.
Ends up at Georgia.
Georgia fans say he's a model student and LSU fans were making up the mental issues and it was just all LSU's fault.
Kirby announces Gilbert has left the team for unspecified reasons.
Georgia fans eat crow.

Gilbert was third in receptions on 2020 LSU and was second before he opted out.

I heard he didn't like to block. Apparently, that was a growing concern of the 2020 team in general. Couldn't run in the red zone, hell, couldn't run, period. Couldn't keep the rush off the QB.
Apparently, Gilbert, as a tight end, wasn't moving anyone on the LOS. Chris Allen said he was soft and then took the ball from him. Do you see how rumors get started?

Statistically this is true. However, I believe he could’ve had 800-1k rec yards playing bully-ball between the #’s, is my point.
