Not sure you know the difference between being injured and hurt. Its not an excuse, its the truth. Good Players going down change the outcome of the game

So if Burrow was injured and you lost, youre telling me no one would say that was the reason?

Its funny how the ppl on the other side of the injured always call it an excuse. I bet we can go back through each teams chat room when a player went down and they lost and that was the reason

I actually liked Spurrier a lot. I know he was cockey and Georgia took the brunt of that many times, but he was a hell of a coach and didn't have a bunch of gimmicks. Mullen just seems to have a very low IQ. He blames everyone but himself when his team loses. Never gives the other team credit. If Spurrier lost, he would say we got our asses beat and LSU played a hell of a game. Eddie tries to blame it on injuries. Every team has them.

Anything that devalues an LSU win is an excuse...haven’t you learned that by now

Mullen fricked Florida when he pulled out a QB that was confident and on fire with a special thing going with that big arse tight end. LSU had no answer for it in the first 2.5 quarters. Then he switched QB’s and that was it. Florida’s offense wasn’t the same and they lost. I’m glad he did it though but that lost Florida the game. Once this team gets the lead late in a game, Joe ain’t gonna lose.

You do realize most of those came at MSST right? What was O's record at Ole Miss?

He lost that game for y’all when he put in that other QB over Trask for that series. Made zero sense. Own up. Injuries are a part of the game. We had injuries too.

I agree with the first part but our injuries were literally the best weapons we had against a passing game. Toney is inconsequential in my eyes, but having Zuniga banged up and Greenard out from the first drive because of a lingering problem he's had for the past few weeks severely hurt our chances to get to Burrow.

That isn't taking anything away from Burrow, he is fricking good -- but it absolutely would not have made his night very fun. Nix is a better athlete than Burrow and just having Greenard after him we were able to completely eradicate his rushing threat which is where we missed those two the most. Their backups are no where near as athletic or explosive as the two of them.

------

But the musical Quarterback in the Red Zone is all on Mullen, what an absolutely stupid way to call a game when one Quarterback is on fire. Everyone knows that when someone is in a rhythm just keep them in the game, and he took Kyle completely out of his rhythm by trying to put in Emory for ???? reasons.

Really stupid playcalling by Mullen and very likely was the difference between a possession game and a two possession loss.

After that 3 and out, LSU took over. You didn’t score but once in the second half. That switch broke your momentum. If you don’t see it, that’s cool. Everyone on the rant saw it and we were glad it happened. When I saw the switch, I told my wife then that this is where we get a quick out and break their back. That’s just what happened. My father in law and I were watching and he thought the same thing. It was disruptive and disturbed the flow of the offense. You can pass on LSU in zone but you are not gonna run on us with any long term success. Not this year.

My question is which is more cringe worthy?
Mullen or Herman

If either need a lesson in class, simply listen to O after a game. He almost always compliments the opposing team.

Ok cool.

Some would say it was the hold on 72 on the big catch in run by Perine that put us behind the chains inside our own 20 making us punt, the missed block by our RT on the option play to the RB and the Pick in the EZ that cost us.

Yea, it pretty much is.

Y’all didn’t come close to slowing down our offense for 99% of the night. Most of those guys played and made absolutely no difference while they were in.

By all accounts, we beat the everliving shite out of y’all and it would’ve been worse had we not dropped several interceptions and given up a freak touchdown.

So yes, it is wrong. Y’all could’ve had JJ Watt at DE and still lost with the way our WR’s outclassed your DB’s

I actually love Orgeron because he's always very complimentary and kind. You never hear a bad thing come out of his mouth and he always wants to praise the other coach and not in a Southern "Bless yer heart" type of way.
