If we lose it will be because of the defense again.

Couldn't win with +5 turnover margin against MSU and Mizzou. Offense wasn't as good as numbers suggest

Defense gave up 40+ points in both games

No run game

Two things that weren't an issue last night

Brennan plays next week. His stat line will be better than the midget.

Maybe. maybe not. We have gone through the toughest part of our schedule.

I do kinda feel bad for y'all this season. The midget will prevent the Dawgs from winning a title.
Thank you! FWIW, I feel sorry for LSU, too. A lack of talent, coaching and loyalty will prevent LSU from repeating.

The main reason the defense didn't give up more was bc LSU had the ball for 37 minutes

Which is a direct result of my second point.

An effective run game.

Gus hasn't beat O yet. Maybe Pellini will change that.

Being efficient passing helps too: 17/21 with 208.9 QBR

So they have a good shot vs LSU.

Which is a result of both of my points.

You arent in a dogfight thus not forced to be one dimensional thus the opposing defense has to respect your run game thus they can't drop eight in coverage.

It also helps when receivers actually catch the passes.

2 flawed teams. could go either way. auburn honestly might have benefitted from 2 game changing calls. lsu has a schizophrenic d. and then who knows which players are actually going to be available.

Running game is helped when you have a QB who can tuck it and pick up 5 yds. Finley throws more catchable passes too, Brennan was leaving guys out to dry or forcing awkward catches half the time

Are you pretending Myles isnt capable of this? I can think of at least one time when got at least 7 yards on a run against Mizzou.

At any rate your point isnt necessarily the reason why the run game improved.

Outside of the sneaks, Finley only had like 3 effective runs. Also, South Carolina had no real reason to have to respect Finley's running ability because the major knock on him has always been his lack of mobility.

The real reason the running game was effective was a combination of dedication to it in play calling and better offensive line play.

This is your opinion, doesn't necessarily make it true.

This is just blatantly false. Just say you prefer Finley, there's no reason to lie.

So if I take your word for it, thats 2 of Brennan's 130 some pass attempts.

Also, look at a pass chart, Brennan attacks the middle of the field much more than Finley did which makes what you're describing more likely to happen.
