I agree. I used to listen to Wyatt when I was at OM in the afternoons and he was in Tupelo. He was great back then. He is still good, but has a little more homerism, just due to the fact that he has to be on the current show because of the format. I agree though, Cross is more of one than Wyatt. That said, neither come CLOSE to that doucher Bo Bounds. I hope he chokes on his next filet from Shappley's, while wearing his clothes from the Rogue, smoking a cigar from the Godfather cigar shop, drinking a Yazoo Brew Dos Perros, planning on heading down to Turquois Place tomorrow. It's so bad that I have all of his bullshite memorized...

State fan here. I think Bounds is the worst shite on the radio. I shop at the Rogue, eat at Shapleys, and smoke only the finest cigars. No you're just a bald headed d bag.

It is. I don't hate the place because I've got family and stuff there, and it does have its nice parts, but it's boring. The people are boring, there's nothing unique to do, there aren't any real festivals or anything like that outside of the Mississippi State Fair and the St. Paddy's Day parade, bands don't stop there on tours, the Mississippi Braves are stuck out in Pearl*, and everybody over the age of 23 is married and settled down.
*anecdote - allegedly they were going to build a stadium downtown but whoever the mayor was at the time (Harvey Johnson maybe?) axed it because Jackson "already has a perfectly fine stadium" (note: Smith Wills is literally the worst stadium I've ever laid eyes upon)

I think Wyatt doesn't like the confrontation. There is a difference. He wants to talk football because he lived it. Cross wants to bring more of the fan side to it, because, well, he never played a sport in his life. And the fan side automatically brings the them vs us argument up
