He just needs to continue throwing downfield, it was great to see him do it two weeks in a row.

He did it at times last season but also disappeared for entire games.

Not surprisingly, throwing downfield has opened up the run game.

My post while Tiger rant was in full meltdown.

I don’t think FSU is on Daniels to be honest.

Inexplicable play calls and not taking the pts. Inability of the Oline to get any push for the running game. It was virtually non/existent when it mattered. Daniels was under pressure a lot. He made a lot of plays and missed some. He carried the load in first half.

Second half LSU was basically one dimensional on offense. That’s tough. I really think he is good QB. May not be elite but he is pretty damn good. Good enough if coaching decisions early on were better and if LSU can run effectively.

FSU wasn’t on Daniels. This post was edited on 9/7 at 8:32 am

That was after FSU game. He is definitely closer to elite at this point.

LSU fans have always clamored for the backup quarterback. It’s nothing new.

Well, let's be honest about it. There were years there it was kind of hard to believe you didn't have someone else better buried on the roster.

His numbers are good even if you remove Grambling, and that's with the bad game at FSU and a slow start saturday.

That's fair, but Daniels was inaccurate against FSU. The WR's came off routes to make some of these balls look catchable, but it still wasn't good.

He started off that way Saturday. Doesn't matter. We still won, and from the last drive of the 1st half to the end, he was money.

It's 3rd down defense that will bury this LSU team at some point.
