No, you skated the question. Do you live in one of the "million dollar homes" you referenced?

Is my house worth $1 million dollars? No. Is your trailer worth $1 million dollars? Dude. You criticize the area I live in without knowing a whole lot about where exactly I live. You literally told me you live in a trailer. Hypocrite much? If I live with million dollar homes around me I can hardly be accused of living in a depressed area, now can I? And you do realize that your house doesn't have to be worth 1 million dollars to be a nice house, right?

Henry County?

You live it Watkinsville, dude.

Again you prove you know nothing about the area.

Speaking up jumping to conclusions, which Oconee trailer park do you think I live?

I have no idea, nor do I care. You volunteered that you paid too much for your trailer. I didn't ask.

You are absolutely unhinged. Get a grip.

I'm telling you that it's a dump of an area.

And I am telling you, you have never lived in as nice a house as I live in, and probably never will.

Yes, you're the epitome of the sidewalker that people make fun of. You're only there on Saturdays when it's your "life."
And again your ignorance is on full display for all to behold.

Makes perfect sense.
To you.

No dawg in the fight but Oconee County is a MUCH better place to live & raise a family, imo.

Dawgs have a national championship(s), Heismans, Big Bowl wins.

Arkansas has......

I am familiar with the area, though, and it isn't nearly as bad as he tries to make it out to be. Not nearly at the top of its game like it once was, but he makes it sound like a Third World Country.

My wife and I are looking around at Lake Front property, and have actually considered going to Lake Oconee. It's still semi-reasonable there. We found a lot on Lake Laceola that we like a lot, though. so we may end up there once she retires. We've also looked at Weiss Lake in Alabama, too. I want the mountains and she wants to Lake. Trying to find both together.

No on the lake. Don't get Spivey confused with lake Jodeco. They are right next to each other and the lakes and neighborhoods are drastically different. I think he is confusing Jodeco with Spivey, too. (Just a guess.)

Liek is aid our favorite lot we've seen is up in the Cleveland, georgia/Dahonega/Dawsonville area...Lake Laceola. Found a lot for about $189,000 thta is a couple of acres, right on the water, with sweeping views. It is a smaller lake in a smaller neighborhood, sitting down in a bowl like area. Very nice.

I'll try to avoid it! I don't mind paying a little more in taxes as long as you get something for them. But it seems a lot of places just jack up taxes without giving any value for the dollars.

We also want to look around Lake Hartwell. I don't know much about it, though.

They just don't know how to handle success and they have two or three terrible posters that post a lot so they give the good ones a bad rep.

There's still some value to be found on Oconee. I like the Granite Shoals area (Greene County ) due to seclusion & proximity to Athens .
