In the article the DA literally says they cannot charge him with anything.
I think you get it, while completely not getting it.

If the police know all of this then that means they have questioned everyone involved. How else would they know what was said between them?
So if they questioned everyone involved and know all of this and Miller broke a law, then he would be charged already.

We're retarded because you might have a DA that loves Bama?

So you think the police are covering for Brandon Miller? They could have lied about all of that and never gave a testimony if they wanted to cover up.

I think you're confused. You said a scenario that was incorrect and I posted a more accurate scenario based on info in the article. I didn't even say anything about him being charged.

So these cops are stupid and admitted that they are covering for him?

quote:I think if Brandon Miller was just another black kid and not a superstar on the basketball team, he would have been arrested and facing charges. I think the DA and police are possibly throwing the university/Miller a bone by not pushing as hard as they could for charges against Miller and/or Bradley. However, I don’t know this for sure. The info released raises these issues and lots of questions the DA, police, university admin, Nate oats, Brandon Miller, and Bradley will need to answer.
So you think the police are covering for Brandon Miller?

It's only a crime if he knew they were going to use the gun in the commission of a crime.

Ehh not really. The text sent to Miller from Miles indicate that Miles felt threatened by someone which is why he wanted his gun.
Miller can easily claim that he had no idea the gun was going to be used on an offensive, and likely he really had no idea.
Imagine your buddy texting you that he was scared someone was gonna attack him and he left his gun in your car.

And blocking in the victim so they can’t escape while the perp retrieves the gun from your car?

quote:Sure he can. And if he were just some random black kid in Alabama connected to an early morning shooting and murder, he would be claiming that through his defense attorneys after being arrested and charged.

Realistically, if I had time to drive it to him then I would've asked him why he couldn't leave the situation first.

Looking at the text Miller received, he actually did no wrong. He gave a gun back to Miles. In hindsight, he could have been more mature and tried to help miles deescalate the situation, but in reality he didn’t break any laws.

Most people would, but he made a mistake and got caught up in the drama. However, It’s legally not criminal as to what he did. There’s no proof that he knew someone was going to get murdered. All they have is a text from Miles asking for his gun back because he was threatened.

Well he did provide the murder weapon that was used to commit a crime. I would say bare minimum, accessory to murder.

Why do you keep ignoring the fact that a detective testified that he blocked in the victims car as she was murdered?

This is all testimony from today too, I believe. I don't follow this kinda stuff enough to know if they'll bring charges based on testimony like this.
