Definitely think several BoT members, boosters and Trooper Taylor at least, IMO. Chezik is a stooge, a puppet, he has plausable deniability but that doesn't help him because everyone knows that is why he was hired.

I don't believe that Chizik had any real knowledge of what was going on.

Your Athletic Director-
Several AU Board of Trustees members-
Several AU boosters-
Some AU assistant coaches-

I also believe that you all will have problems with not only the NCAA, but SACS again...JMO!

I honestly don't think Chizik knew anything. Really sad for him.

Malzhan has now been front and center for two program wrecking fiascos, he's not going to get a big time shot, like everyone had him lined up for a month ago; too much baggage

Something I've been aware for years, but this has brought it to the forefront again, is that Malzhan is a lightening rod (especially in NW AR) second only to Nutt. Folks either love him or think he is scum who cheated and recruited for the high schools he coached at.

Will it be found out that the AU coaching staff was involved? or do you guys think it was more boosters/BOT members?

Aubie, unfortunately the school has allowed the distinction to become so blurred as to defy delineation. Is Dye a coach? Administrator? Booster?

Trooper Taylor is on your staff. I've been hearing he was a cheater for over a decade - certainly since he was at Tulane. I personally believe Chizik was selected, as some have suggested, so he could be "managed" to go along with the PFP scheme. Other than Vandy coaches, he's the first SEC head coaching hire in 25 years where I said, "Chizik? Never heard of him."

So, I believe that it will involve coaches and boosters. The NCAA will very likely make an example of Auburn. Dye was implicated previously and they will want to strongly reinforce the USC situation.

I hate it for ya'll, but you're "all in".

The stories that Tubs would have no part of the old "pay to play" racket would suggest that his protege, Chiz, would possibly be averse to such things. However it is hard to believe that if such was going on the entire coaching staff could be oblivious. I would lean toward at least one key member of the staff being privy.

I believe that if anyone is found guilty, it will be Cam's father and some of the boosters. The coaching staff and the University are innocent I think. And thats what makes this so unfair. The wrong people and institutions might suffer.

Trooper Taylor has had some shady dealings in the past at Tulane and UT. I remember a diploma mill he was sending guys to in SFLA to get recruits out of there. But other than possibly him, I don't think any coaches were involved at all. But I know as much as the next guy.

Your boosters have a record of acting independent of the university - to a point. IF they secured CN's services, they had to tell the university. IF the university didn't ask any questions, based on what the world knows about some of your boosters, then Auburn U. ought to be hammered for just being stupid if nothing else.

If there was a pay for play thing going, I doubt Chiz was involved. I am sure there is some sort of a firewall created to protect the coaches and the institution. What Chiz may or may not know can not be traced or documented.

I think Cam is declared ineligible, this season is a waste for AU and the school gets 30 schollys taken away over a 4 year period, no bowl in 2011.

AU becomes the only SEC team to not lose a game on the field and not get a NC two times.

Tubbs played along. Lowder shut off the money when he wanted him out.

It is harder for the NCAA to ruin a mans career than to hammer a program, but the big boosters and BoT members will pressure some to fall on their sword. I don't think Trooper will do that willingly. Auburn has taken care of previous coaches who took the heat. Pat Dye has had a better career than if he had stayed on as Coach/AD.
