I'm suppose to be in a wedding on Oct 15th, this is the week of the Tennessee and Bama game. Would you go to the wedding or go to the game?

That is NOTHING my friend. I got married the day of the Alabama/Tennessee game in 1980. We had the wedding Saturday morning in Tuscaloosa, and reception immediately after.

The game was in Tennessee, but televised. By 12 noon everyone was looking at their watch so we left, got buried in thrown rice, then drove to Point Clear Grand Hotel listening to the game on the way. Alabama beat the crap out of Tennessee that day, 27-0. They fully deserved it too. Screw Tennessee and the color orange.

By the way... whether you go as a groomsman, might depend on ... what do the bride's maids look like? Never miss a chance at a really outstanding bride's maid regardless of football. Decades later you will be able to replay the game on line, but you will regret the missed bride's maid opportunity.

Pray that he finds out that she's cheating on him before the wedding. It will be less heartache on him down the road, and you get to make the game. Win/win
