Im not going to lie. Im in the optimistic segment of the fan base. Several of my friends are in that "we will get kicked in the Nuts" crowd, but I legit think those days are coming to an end. We are in a real football conference, getting real recruits, while kansas is practicing what to do once a team wins. Time to enjoy this.

Stripes314 - that's cool bro. Are you relatively young? Just axin'. I try with all my might to be an optimisitic Mizzouer but after sitting there live and in person to see Tyus Edney in Boise and Fifth Down and Bicycle Kick at Faurot and Padgett at Hearnes and...oh well you know what I mean. I live and die with the 'Zou and often that means dying hard. I know how good and talented many of our teams have been so I go into defense mode real fast when the smack starts to run, because for those who are uneducated about college sports and think in simplistic terms, Mizzou becomes an easy target. That's all.

Now this is true. Which is why I find it funny some of the time the schools that try to rip on us. Yes I am in my early 20's so I know I wasnt fully aware during all of our failures. But at the same time this is a new Era. We arent the same 3-4 win, no presence in the state team. Honestly for the most part the schools that try hard to rip on us are usually the same inferior school jealous of something that we have.

I dont remember when you would have ripped on us but I was talking about more of a kU or KSU fan. Unless you put yourself in that category.
