Does it bother you when they call it "Yooler" and "Youfus"?
Youfus is UAFS.

Yeah I am aware of that. I was talking about both of the sister universities.

It took me 9 years. I spent 3 in the Army but 9 none the less.
Here's another tid bit for you. I don't use my degree. I think they are over-rated. I would make half what I make now if I were using my degree.
$9 per hr divided in half is hard to live on.

I see, I thought you were refering to just UALR.
But no, it's "youfus" even when I refer to it. Doesn't bother me.

I remember when it was West Ark. That didn't sound bad at all. When they first switched to UAFS I thought "youfus" was terrible, but now it just seems normal. I grew up in that area.

It took me 9 years also, I'm in the National Guard, been deployed 4 times in 10 years. It makes going to college hit and miss.

I tried to do the college thing when I was in the Army, but I kept getting deployed and had to drop my classes.

That's been the problem that I've had. My next to last deployment I was lucky, I went to Kuwait. I was able to do some online classes there.

When I was in Taji we could have internet in our rooms, but it was $100 a month and really slow. Are you based out of Chaffee? (sp?)

I got my grad degree from The Flagship

Yep, and the spelling is correct. One of our batteries was stationed at Taji when I was in Kuwait.
I can relate to the internet being slow over there, we paid only 40 a month, but the crap was bad, better than nothing though.

Yeah that meat head is my oldest brother. I was actually in Iraq when he was down in Kuwait. Whoever did the artwork for that razorback on one of the barriers there was crazy talented.

Which barrier? The one at S-Pod or the one at KNB? The one at KNB was right in front of the defac, it was pretty cool, didn't see the one at S-Pod.
