Perhaps you didn't see this, but Louisiana is literally the worst state in America. #50 out of 50 and probably Puerto Rico is way better after their hurricane.

LOUISIANA IS THE WORST STATE IN THE UNIVERSE (PROOF)

Serious question, what’s worse, Louisiana or your shitty football program?

That's ok. The millions of other visitors that come to the city and state annually won't miss YOUR Skoal Drool Gumpneck arse. They'll be the ones enjoying the WWII Museum, The Aquarium of the Americas, Armstrong Park, Fulton Street, Jax Brewery, City Park, Audubon Park, the Warehouse District galleries, Magazine Street, streetcar rides on St. Charles Avenue in the Garden District, Dixieland Jazz, Riverboat cruises and tours, the Vieux Carre', and of course the finest cuisine on the planet....

I’ve done almost all of these, to include an airboat ride in the briny backwaters you call the Gulf of Mexico, where guides lured gators with marshmallows. Stayed at the Hotel Monteleone last time there. The Carousel Bar is cool, but New Orleans is a sh*t hole. It ain’t all that. Birmingham has just as good ‘cuisine’ and none of the trash of the French Quarter.

Young fella, I saw The Rolling Stones at the Superdome in 1981. I was going to New Orleans probably before you were born. It’s a trashy, nasty city. Crime, hookers and corrupt politicians. That’s New Orleans and the state of Louisiana in general.

There is absolutely no record of corruption in Alabama, right? Let’s not be naive here. And seriously no one in America goes to Birmingham for its cuisine. Every city of any size has some good restaurants, including Birmingham. Even Jackson has some excellent restaurants, including one of the best sushi restaurants in the entire region, but no city really compares to the restaurant scene in New Orleans.

I really don’t want to live in New Orleans, but it really is one of the most interesting cities in the country, and I always enjoy visiting. It has great food, great music, history, architecture. I’m always surprised by folks who can’t appreciate such an interesting, and often beautiful city.

It's definitely not a nice place to visit, and pretty trashy in general ... though New Orleans is a good time

Rest of the state is a definite pass

You talking about John Goodman from Roseanne?

He married a gal from Louisiana and now resides in Louisiana today. In fact, he was the college game day picker the other day when they were at LSU in Baton Rouge. Not to mention that if I remember correctly, he has done so far better at picking than all of the other guess pickers so far this season. He was one of the few college game day pickers that actually knew what he was doing.

According to a poster on TigerDroppings, Goodman’s picks were actually made for him by a friend of his. Either way, he gets the credit.
