C. When did he become an offense guru of the spread offense???

When did Arkansas start running the spread?

I don't think Gruden is coming to Arkansas, but the fear of some opposing fans that he might is highly entertaining. If their current coaches left, most of the people questioning Gruden would cream themselves if their school hired him.

It's because their bandwidth can't suck it up.

Hell, Id start a Pinkel/Petrino thread on here just to frick with Hogville if I was certain I wouldn't get banned from the rant. However, Id swiftly be shipped off to the wastelands...

I guess you could call it a pro-style offense, but the fact that the only year it was used in the NFL it finished 23rd in yds/game and 29 in pts/game means you would have to use that term very loosely.

Yeah, Petrino OBVIOUSLY had the time to get the kinds of players required to run his system in his 13 games at Atlanta. Obviously.

Then why were the last two games of the season without him much better than the previous games in terms of consistency of the offense? They weren't the tops, but they were more consistent.

LINK

Here's the link. You are talking in abstracts. Here are the numbers. You also act like the fact he only had 13 games is attributable to something other than his own actions, which is kind of funny.

Am I getting better at this?

Btw, seriously, an announcement is expected soon that Yost is taking a "big time" head coaching position and that Petrino is rumored to want the OC job at Mizzou. He knows he won't be hired as head coach anywhere soon and he sees promise with Pinkel's team.

I guess Petrino may get DGB after all...

This thread wreaks of irony because of who the OP is. Anyone else could have started this thread and it be legit.
