And I really, really dislike little game Bob. So that should tell you where Butch Jones falls.
Tennessee could have any other coach and I'd be pulling for them. Tennessee needs to be good. We need a 3rd place contender in the east year in and year out. But not under Butch.

I can't remember a Tenn coach I liked. I did respect Fulmer though. He somehow managed to do what no other East team did and bring competition to Spurrier. Got to respect that.
However I have no respect for Butch. He is a recruiter and really nothing more. He took over Cincy after Kelly made it a power in that crappy conference, and never really did anything with it except during the year he ditched. He's been every bit of average at Tennessee. He did beat USC...so I guess that saves his job yearly now. UT fans are happy with beating Vandy and Spurrier.

You're right. Now that Florida has a coach, Missouri is going to be stuck battling it out with South Carolina for 4th and 5th in the East. Leave the East to the big 3, like God intended

You are obviously new to the conference. Everyone dislikes Tennessee all the time forever for good reason. What is that reason? The answer is simple but it can be hard to fully explain to one who has not been exposed to that evil face to face.
Try this...just read the book, Lord of the Rings and everywhere "Mordor" is mentioned, just substitute the word "Tennessee" and you might begin to understand.
Because he is at Tennessee is just another reason to dislike butch jones.

Butchy reminds of an animal that burrows into the ground, I cant quite put my finger on it. I have commented on this board that I thought he did a fine job recruiting and had no problem with him. BUT
UT fans just went fricking giddy after doing NOTHING last year...they beat Vandy, USC and UK and THATS IT! OU blew their doors off...UF escapes Knoxvegas with W and had mediocre team, Bama skullfricked them, UGA continued the misery.
Thats ok that they didnt do anything....but the holy cousin frickers jump on tabletops and rejoice a bowl bid like they were going to the Super Bowl and its been non stop since.
I always want to root for SEC since it helps us remain strong in the eyes of the media...but cant do it now.
