Imagine how talented UGA would be if they had a coach who sealed the borders
Idiot.
GA puts out over 100 D-1 football players per year. We get 25 schollys per year. Yes we go after what we consider the best of those players. Do we get them all? No. But we go out of state as well because there are some deficiencies in this state in spite of the numbers. M.Stafford, K.Moreno, AJ Green, Aaron Murray, Orson Charles, Max Jean Gillis, Q.Sturdivant, Ben Jones, Marlon Brown, Keith Marshall, John Theus, and Musa Smith are just a few of the many offensive players from out of state.
So sealing the borders? Impossible. And UGA shouldn't be beholden to a state that doesn't produce the offensive players it can get elsewhere.

and ultimately ends SEC football in AL, TN, SC, and MS
The Mississippi schools would probably dramatically improve... not so much on Tenn, Bama, Oregon, Michigan
And some school in NY and NC would suddenly emerge as a football powerhouse

ETA: We owe FSU and Oklahoma.

Not reading the entire thread, but this is the exact approach Tenn took when they were a power, they can thank Donnan and Goff for being so shitty.
Once UGA and Richt starting locking up the best kids in the state again Tenn went to shite. Now Saban is killing it in GA, I just doubt that they can keep up this type of recruiting in GA without Saban.
