I've been burned too many times lately. When we hired Harsin, I thought, yes, I like this hire. We started 6-2 beat Ole Miss and I thought, ok we are back. Then Miss. State happened, then Bama, because we didn't stay in bounds. Then after all of that, we hired Freeze, and when Payton Thorne transferred, I just knew we were back. I think this time I am going to take a " I'll believe it when I see it" attitude.

I get your detest for OU being a TX fan, but calling Arnold a future heisman QB and guy that's gonna take AU out of the promise land is a terrible way to take a jab at OU. Did you watch him play at all.

They've been waiting for OU to take a nosedive into the wilderness since forever. So have whorn fans. They think that day has finally come with Venables at the helm, so they're spitting self-comforting narratives like the New York Times.

It’s funny how for a year every OU fan said Arnold will have a statue at OU and worshipped the ground he walked on

Sooner scoop, beat writers, they all said he was outperforming Gabriel in practices.

Then he has a bad year where 75% wasn’t his fault and they all said good riddance and he was never good. Gotta love it

Yall were also glad to see Gabriel go
