I've been most impressed by the offense. Said this on other posts but Reed has progressed tremendously over the last year and the receivers look like All-Americans. The OL seems solid. Losing Moss obviously hurts but I'm sure you have someone who can be "next up".
On the defense I think the better question is "is it good enough". It doesn't necessarily need to be at wrecking crew level to be effective, particularly with your offense. As the newest buzz phrase describes, "complimentary football".
It pains me to say it but I think you guys can play with anyone in the country. Not saying you'd definitely win the game vs. Ohio State, Bama, etc but so far you're the most consistently balanced team I've seen this year.

A@M defense is good not elite. You are playing bottom feeder teams.

What I think is that no one knows what will happen.

No team is perfect. Not that it matters whether A&Ms defense is considered good or elite…
But for reference, a common opponent is Auburn. OUs defense gave up 100 more yards to Auburn.

They crowned their D the 85 Bears for dominating Illinois St, Michigan, Temple, Auburn and Kent State. The best offense on that list is Michigan at 50th. Smoke and mirrors.
Yet still number one in total defense lol
