I would note that it's Bush 41 not Bush 43 in the title otherwise this could get ugly fast

Conservatives were pissed he raised taxes despite saying he wouldn't (even though that move helped segue America into fiscal prosperity).

This. Another rich Texas oil man split votes. Clinton was a beneficiary of circumstance, that circumstance being that we have a lot of rich people who like to run for political office in our great state
