I don't think it is money.
I think one of the nation's top recruits out of California likes Ole Miss because of the "inclusive attitude" (They got rid of their racist mascot).
I think a lot of these guys fall in love with the campus at Ole Miss just like Tunsil did on his official visit...

It seems Freeze is really using the plug 'come win a title at a place that it hasn't been done before.' My question is can he maintain this type of recruiting in let's say 3-4 years if their best record is 9-3. Needless to say, the job he is doing is remarkable. With a&m and UT currently struggling, he is also benefitting in east texas right now

Any suggestion that Ole Miss' student body is any more racist than any other Southern (or any regional) university is really silly. Not to mention tons of Ole Miss' student population comes from large suburban areas, just like Alabama, Auburn, etc.

I just don't get why you guys spend so much time denying it. Who cares? If you aren't getting caugh then it's not happening, right? If (when) the shoe does drop you are going to end up looking really foolish. Just embrace it. That would be my advice.

1. Freeze is just a really good recruiter. Orgeron himself said he was the best recruiter they had. When he first became our coach I was not excited but went to see him speak a month later and fell in love with the guy. Just an extremely likable guy.
2. Bama, LSU, etc. Yeah, blame yourselves. You turned the SEC into the premiere brand within college football and we get to ride those coattails. You also laid the blueprint out for how to recruit at a high level.
3. Starting to act like a big boy football program. It is so different now than when I was there. The atmosphere is like being at big time college football.
4. Winning. Freeze has showed that he can back it up. If he won 6 games a season we would not be recruiting the way we are right now.
5. Television. Everyone is on television every game now. Family can see you play. NFL scouts can see you play. This one is huge and will continue to change the face of college football.
6. I have flooded the recruiting circuit with cash, hooker, and blow. There, beat you to it.
Not to mention we are about to put the #1 pick most likely in the draft. The #1 WR and another DL that all will go first round most likely. Kids want to go to the NFL. If you can show them a path and how you can be successful in getting their then they don't mind going to your school.
