I remember childhood sermons from my pastor about in the future being hated by the world and sermons about the times right becomes wrong and wrong becomes right and for a person in the 70's that made no sense, it seems prophetic now.

Haha. When a civilization advances and information becomes more readily available, fables and stories created to control masses will fade away. Its natural progression. So many people can't discount what some idiot taught them as children, childrens minds are so easily molded to believe certain things. The irony of all this is that so many people believe in their religions so strongly, they are willing to murder and die for it.
It will eventually fade.

Is this a joke? As of 2015, 70% of adults in the U.S. self-identified as Christian. Basically every U.S. Congressman/woman is Christian (maybe one or two who are not).
70% is lower than the 85-90% it was in the 90's, but that's still the vast majority (and a far cry from being "marginalized").

You may not believe in the grace of God now but one day you will understand the truths of the teachings of Jesus.
If you would get a bible and read out loud the book of John and the book of Luke your thinking may change. Read by your self.

I'm not arguing for or against any religion here. But using a religious text as evidence of that religion's right/wrongness is not really logical or effective when you're talking to someone who doesn't share your beliefs.
