Just a little thunder and a lot of rain and some flooding, but we'll be ok. I hope everybody else is ok.

We have been dodging Tornados all day in Bham. But the hard core stuff is coming tonight.

Yea I’m pretty worried about it. It’s been wild so far but has slowed down recently. Hopefully stays that way for everybody.
ETA: literally hit submit and Spann comes back on about a tornado warning nearby. Frick.

I think we're just getting it here in Oxford. It was supposed to be an all day affair so I'm glad it'll only be heavy rain for a couple of hours

Here just west of Lafayette, I have to ask. What weather? Mainly rain with some lightning and wind.
Posted on 3/17/21 at 6:57 pm to jvilardo
SEC country extends a little farther than the Lafayette metro area
BR got it easy, some nasty lighting but that was about it

Multiple confirmed tornadoes in rural western Alabama this afternoon and still ongoing.
There are reports of homes damaged/destroyed and some injuries but fortunately so far no reports of deaths. So far they've been in very rural areas and missed bigger areas like Selma and Clanton.

Tornado warning sirens have gone off three times near me in the last few hours. I’m just north of Birmingham. Hunkered down.

Glad to hear no deaths so far.
Of the natural disasters I’ve been through tornadoes are the worst

KOW
Tornado came through Morris this afternoon. Looks like only a few trees down. Be safe.

Thought the worst had passed so I went to bring the garbage out with Sun God Jr.
Lightning struck immediately within a mile of us.
He asked to go to bed

Yall don't wanna end up like this...
My lab is a rescue from the 2016 flood. I can only imagine what he went through before someone found him. So, any time the barometric pressure drops he pretty much freaks out. I even gave him trazodone at noon, but he really hates hard rain and thunder. My daughter's little dog is just a bitch. He goes to the T in the hall with his tail between his legs.
