Funny thing, Kermit's dad played and coached at MSU. A true basketball legend. Y'all hired the wrong guy, and your nemesis hired a great coach who had ties to your school.

At the time Kermit was considered he had 1 NCAA Tournament appearance in 13 seasons at MTSU. And he was fired at Texas A&M for a massive cheating scandal years before.

Why in hell Howland is coaching in a toilet like Starkville, MS is utterly beyond me.

Kermit played at MSU. I think that's a more direct connection than the vicarious one through his dad.
