I don't remember the years, but there have been several good ones.
Clemson winning on the (Illegal)pick play was a good game. ( I get all the arguments because they won on the illegal play but it was a close hard fought game.)
Like you said the 2017 was probably the very best on because of closeness and OT, etc. Bad ending for us, but it is what it is. Great game.
2021 was an excellent game because we won...and it was close down to the end.
Those were the best imo.

A lot of Georgia fans hated several calls, but the ones they mentioned (to me) were so close I thought they could have gone either way. Hard to blame the refs for those, because it is difficult/different when it is full speed. They allowed the WR/DBs to play which I like. Obviously we like it when it is in our favor... we want calls when it is not. All in all, I thin they did a good job, though.

Painfully boring first half trading FGs. Hard to gripe as much of that was due to superior defense on both side of the ball.
Second half, regardless of who you were rooting for, was dynamic, explosive, and came down to the last minute.
Someone had to lose that game, but it wasn't the fans.

Best of all time for me since it was Georgia. I love defense-dominated games.

Obviously very biased, but I think the 1st and 2nd half worked in tandem to make this such a great game.
We got a good old-fashioned SEC slugfest in the 1st, and then counteracted that with some good fireworks and big plays in the 2nd. Best of both worlds type game.
