He may have finished 5th in the Weat but he finished 15th in the nation.

That is easy a F cause all he can say is TSUN blah blah.. Can't recruit with crap in state yet he thinks 2 Egg Bowl Wins and he is KING OF MISSISSIPPI.

I'd say a solid B+. Would give him an A but recruiting has been quite sub par.

I have met Coach Mullen as well, and I agree he is a very cool laid back person IRL.

Fireman17 is butthurt. Mullen owns Ole Miss.
I give Mullen an A-/B+. Huge props for on the field results (9-4, NYD Bowl win in just his 2nd year), but minus points for "apparent" mediocre recruiting. He can get those recruiting points back by getting higher ranked classes in the future or by continuing to win by recruiting the type of players he is now.

And I just don't quite understand all of the Ole Miss folks saying that he is a horrible coach when they have yet to beat him.
Not tryin to start shite, and I do understand homerism but damn, it's obvious he is better than Nutt until proven otherwise.

Ole Miss fans hate Mullen b/c he will not refer to them as Ole Miss, and also the fact that Mullen is yet to lose to Ole Miss.
I honestly dont think there is a single Ole Miss fan out there who is objective and is willing to say that Mullen has done a good job at State.

Mississippi State didn't hire Mullen with the expectations of immediately winning a National Championship. He led us to a freaking 9 win season and had us ranked for most of the season.
What more is expected out of Mullen in year 2 at Mississippi State? Im curious to what you Auburn and Bama fans think he should have done.
The LSU and Florida fans who have posted are the only fans who have been objective at all.
