Now, when has Texas ever been worth a shite without Vince Young?

One of my best friends is a student at tuscaloosa. Pretty much free ticket. My sister is on scholly at auburn. Free ticket there as well. So its not like i was making a special trip, when asked to go to a football game, im down. Plain and simple.

Hasn't Texas won the big 12 a whopping 3 times in its 15 year existence? Please tell us all again how dominant the longhorns would be in the SEC.

I started to read all that BS then decided there was no reason, TX isn't coming to the SEC anymore than tOSU. If they can't run things then they ain't gonna join........So back to the "why is LSU better than bama" threads.........

And I would still never want to go to a UT-OU, Tech-Baylor, etc. game even if I was given a ticket. I'd much rather go to my own team's game or at least go to a bar and watch them play.

This. I'm not a college football fan. I'm a fan of my college teams. Texas A&M and Michigan--that's the list of teams I'll go to the stadium for. Everyone else I'll just catch on TV because I don't care enough just to see a rival lose to another team that's not mine. Ridiculous.
