It's not real hard to schedule other P4's.

Other the past few years State has played home and home with Kansas State, NC State, Arizona, and Arizona State with upcoming series with Minnesota and Texas Tech. We've also have played and/or scheduled Memphis, Tulane, and Southern Miss. It ain't hard to play a competent schedule. It's embarrassing how easy Ole Miss' schedules have been set up for them.

We have scheduled a few P4 series. Schools keep canceling them. If you could read, you would see we were supposed to play @ USC and host Wake Forest this year. Both schools pulled out of this year and future year games. We are trying to replace them as best we can. So far we were able to replace next year's USC game with Pitt. I suspect you'll get several more announcements soon as long as schools don't pussy out.

I know we did for Wazzu, we only scheduled them because USC backed out of the series.

Football needs to be more like boxing, and make it so you can’t dodge playing opponents once they start looking good.

I’d argue teams should be ineligible for the playoffs for pulling that.

Good schedule. Especially if we get a couple of the big kickoff neutrals in some of those non scheduled years.
